About Artist

Chisom Nuella Nwakalor, artistically known as N U E L L A, is a Nigerian-American singer-songwriter based in the Bay Area. Her music blends Indie-Folk, Alternative, and Contemporary Christian sounds, drawing inspiration from Steffany Gretzinger, Tony Anderson, Lauren Daigle, and Misty Edwards. Raised in a musical family, she spent years harmonizing with her siblings, performing Acappella medleys. In 2014, she discovered songwriting as a form of expression and healing. Learning guitar deepened her creativity, leading her to write over 30 songs. In 2024, inspired by the impact of her music, N U E L L A began professionally producing her songs. Her debut single, Running, releases in March 2025, followed by her EP, Voice of the Doorkeeper, in Winter 2025. Rooted in authenticity and faith, N U E L L A believes music can be a gateway to healing and transformation.
